The Fiat-Abarth 750 is a sporting series made by Abarth & C. in Italyin the 1950s and 1960s. These cars used the Fiat 600 floorpan and bodywork but were equipped with Abarth's modified engines. Abarth offered various bodyworks designed by Zagato, Allemano, and othersfor the 750 and its variations. Carlo Abarth's modified FIAT engines were legendary, with almost supernatural performance. After leaving Cisitalia in 1948, Abarth set up his shop in Turin. With the FIAT 500-based 595, Abarth adopted a cost-effective method to boost power.

The 695 SS came equipped with special cylinder castings, stronger valve springs, and revised camshaft, allowing for higher engine speeds. The 695 SS was the only version to feature flared arches, and the need to raise the engine cover for extra stability and cooling. Only 1,000 695 SS’s were ever produced and only 150 remain. In 1971, Abarth designer Ing. Colucci was responsible for getting the 124 Spider into Group 4 rally trim. The Fiat Abarth 124 Rally is a homologated version knownalso as "124 Abarth Stradale", introduced in November 1972.

Replacing his predecessor, the lightweight Fiat 131 Abarth Rally was designed by the Bertone Style Centre using fiberglass and aluminum. Powered by a unique four-cylinder engine, it generated up to 245 PS. With 400 exemplars built between 1976 and 1978, it quickly dominated competitions worldwide. The Abarth 130TC with an engine delivering 130 PS, it could reach 100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds. What made it unique was its utilization of carburettors paired with electronic ignition timing. With its close ratio ZF gearbox, the 130TC was leaving rivals in the dust.
